About us

A spacious,  fully equipped house with facilities for ten to twelve guests, with panoramic and sweeping views of the valley and forests. There are braai and entertainment facilities on the front porch. The house is situated within an electric fence on an extensive timber farm with indigenous forests within walking distance. There is a small swimming pool in a beautiful garden. 



Our Accommodation

The house has six bedrooms, 4 of which have Queen size beds, (and then carry on with one has 3/4 beds. The sixth room has a 3/4 and bunk bed. Spacious living area with open plan well-equipped kitchen   Open sunny deck with wide views of the mountains and valley with braai facilities.  Lovely pool area in lush gardens with an indigenous forest within walking distance.



Accommodates 12 guests at R400 per person per night. Minimum of 6 people at a time ie R2400
For more guests add on R400 per person per night
Children 5 and under for free - Between 6 and 13 yrs pay half price R200 per night

Historical sites: two places where the famous Boer Long Toms were destroyed | Hiking and walking trail | The Wolkberg Wilderness area | Trout fishing | Abseiling, tubing, mountain biking (own bike)  | Horse riding | Birding (Two South African birds, the Black-fronted Bush Shrike and the Blue Swallow are endemic to this area) |  Various tea gardens and nurseries |  Picnicking at the Dap Naude dam | Waterfalls, including the Debengeni falls | Visit organic farms and do a cheese making or farm tour | Cruises on the Ebenezer dam.

From Johannesburg, take the N1 highway to Polokwane (Pietersburg), then the R71 to Tzaneen, continue for +-61km and pass the turn-off to Haenertsburg. Turn right at the turn-off to Woodmere, (signposted), approximately 5 km from the Village turn-off. Travel for about one kilometre on the sand road - good road - until you come to a gate. Gate will be opened, drive up tp the lodge and enjoy your weekend!
