Charl Du Plessis TrioEvery once a while we are fortunate to have accomplished musicians visit. This Spring the well-known Charl du Plessis Trio will be entertaining us with music ranging from baroque to pop.  This trio have become renowned for their interpretations of classical and jazz piano repertoire. The South African press has hailed Charl du Plessis as a “cult pianist”, an “edu-tainer” and a pianist with “x-factor in his playing”.  He is a versatile performer who brings insight into the vast range of music he plays through his own search for truth and beauty.          Charl is known as South Africa's Piano Man and is the youngest person ever in Africa to be named a Steinway Artist. Together with Werner Spies and Hugo Radyn the trio will be in Haenertsburg Village on 16 September in the Haenertsburg Christian Church Hall.
